Scientists Investigate the Value of Increased Feed Spacing for Broiler Chickens

Is there a benefit to increasing the spacing a bird gets around the feeder? Researchers at Mississippi State University and the USDA-ARS Poultry Research Unit took a look at this topic to determine if increased space would improve broiler growth. The study was able to determine whether or not this attributed to better carcass yield.
