About the ContestThe PSA Meme Contest is a fun, interactive way to bring funny photos from research and poultry production into the spotlight. Submit photos, help us create clever captions, and then vote for the funniest meme. Call for PhotosTo kick off this contest, we need photos from you! Do you have a comical photo of your birds or fellow colleagues in the field? Submit them for consideration in the meme contest. Three photos will be selected and then put up for the next stage of the contest: captioning. The photos PSA is looking for should feature poultry. Silly, wacky, goofy, unusual, and funny situation photos are perfect submissions. If there’s a photo that you believe would make a funny meme or has great caption capabilities, submit it! Do not upload photos with captions already on them. |

Call for CaptionsThe selected photos are ready and we need your help coming up with clever captions! Submit your silliest caption for each of the final 6 photos. Captions can be submitted below or through PSA’s Instagram Account where you see the photos along with “CAPTION THIS” in the photo’s description. One caption will not be considered for all photos, so be sure to comment your suggested caption under the corresponding photo. All submitted captions will be considered but only one caption for each photo will be turned into a meme for final voting. Captions are no longer being accepted as of June 30th. Voting During Annual Meeting & Prize for WinnersCast your vote for the funniest meme across all of PSA’s social media. Three memes will be created but only one will be declared the winner. Signage will be available throughout the meeting with QR Codes to submit your likes. The meme with the most likes across all of PSA’s social media will be declared the winning meme! Free meeting registration to the 2023 PSA Annual Meeting in Philadelphia, PA will be granted to the individual who submitted the winning photo as well as to the individual who submitted the winning meme caption. The final day to vote was Wednesday, July 13, 2022. The results will be announced at the Awards Celebration on Thursday, July 14th of the 2022 PSA Annual Meeting. |
