Dr. Brian Fairchild is a native of North Carolina and attended North Carolina State University where he received a BS in Poultry Science, a BS in Animal Science, a MS in Physiology and a PhD in Physiology. He has been a member of the faculty of the Department of Poultry Science at the University of Georgia for 23 years where he is a professor and extension poultry scientist working in poultry management, poultry house environmental control and energy conservation.
