CHAMPAIGN, Ill., April 4, 2018 – The Poultry Science Association Foundation (PSA Foundation) and U.S. Poultry and Egg Harold E. Ford Foundation (USPOULTRY Foundation) jointly sponsored the Inaugural PhD Student Career Fair held during the International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE) Jan. 29, 2018, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA. This unique program is designed to better serve the industry companies, particularly involving, but not limited to, technology driven companies such as those in poultry genetics, health, pharmaceutical and nutrition. The target participants are PostDoctoral, early PhD and Veterinary students. Companies participating in the Inaugural Career Fair included Pilgrim’s, Amick Farms, Aviagen North America and QTI Tech. The Career Fair concluded with a networking reception for industry personnel and students participating in the interview process.

A total of 31 students from 12 universities participated in the Career Fair and Informal Reception with company personnel.
