Volunteer with the PSA

If you have an interest in getting involved or volunteering with the Poultry Science Association, please complete one of our volunteer forms below.

Please note that only Professional members are eligible to volunteer on PSA committees. If you are interested in serving on the Board of Directors, you will need to hold an active Professional membership and run during an open election cycle. Elections take place before the Annual PSA Meeting and results are announced at the Annual Business Meeting. Interests may be submitted to the Nominating Committee during open calls for nominations at the end of each calendar year.

  • Serve on PSA Committees

    Individuals who hole active, professional membership with PSA are welcome to express their interest in serving on our committees. Volunteering on a PSA committee is a great way to expand your professional network and get involved with the Association.

  • Interpretive Summary & Infographic Suggestion

    Interpretive Summaries are condensed versions of recent research published in Poultry Science® and The Journal of Applied Poultry Research. The goal is to highlight a variety of research and topics within PSA's journals. Summaries are released the second Wednesday of each month in the PSA Postings eNewsletter.

    Our Lab to Farm Infographic series dives into the latest research published in Poultry Science® and The Journal of Applied Poultry Research to provide a visual breakdown of the science. This resource is perfect for front-line poultry industry employees who are interested in the science, but are looking for a quick and easy way to digest the content.

  • Journal Reviewer

    Volunteering as a reviewer for Poultry Science® and The Journal of Applied Poultry Research is a great stepping stone into volunteering with PSA. Reviewers are given reviewing assignments based on their areas of expertise as manuscripts are received by the editorial team.   • Submit an Event to the PSA Calendar

    If you have an event that would be of interest to poultry science professionals, we welcome you to submit it to our calendar. We will review all submissions and if we find the event is appropriate for inclusion, the event will be added in 2-3 business days.
